I'm really looking forward to Oulton, it's a fantastic circuit that's draped around a picturesque but undulating forest, the place oozes history and has a feeling of a bygone era in motor-sport, some may say from the days when men were men!

Perhaps I tempted fate by suggesting a role on my racing mower was inevitable, whatever the reason, it happened. Fortunately there were no major effects except i burned my hand on the exhaust when putting it back on its wheels.

After being invited to race in a 6 hour mower racing event last year I have been building my own racing mower, sounds silly and I guess it is a bit silly but it's mega fun! basically a high performance go kart built around a lawnmower chassis speeds of 50mph are common place and on a bumpy field with no suspension this makes for great fun!

Im glad to report the weekend went really well at Donnington! Thanx to all the fans and sponsors who have maintained belief in my abilities as a driver despite some recent difficult times! Thanx again to everyone and fingers crossed for the future!

I've just about finished everything for university, and coincidentally theres a nice wave at Tynemouth at 6:30. The ideal way to blow off a bit of steam before handing everything in tomorrow

As I have mentioned previously I'm in my final year of study at Northumbria Uni, I'm also now in the final week before my exam hand in. Needless to say theres plenty to be done and not much time to do it. Especially with the run-up to Donnington coinciding with this week.
