Yesterday I attended a test at Thruxton circuit. I have fond memories
of Thruxton circuit from my career with some of my best results coming
at the track and it was the track at which I won the SEAT cupra R title
in 2007 on my birthday. However the good memories became a distant
glimmer when after 6 laps I turned into Goodwood corner and hit some
rubbish on the track which spat the car to the outside of the circuit
and head on into a new piece of armco. The armco yielded as youd expect
at that kind of speed, unfortunately the damage was extensive and has
caused some serious chassis damage.
